Is this getting old?? Or do people still enjoy them? Let me know... Riley looks dead in the following pictures...it sort of creeps me out. She was so tired though on this day. She needed a nap real badly!

A post dedicated to Hailee!

I happened to have some pictures of Hailee from one evening that John, Dana, and the girls came from dinner. They are too good not to share...

This first one needs some explanation...Hailee went into the girls closet and decided she would try on Halloween costumes and dress up. And SOMEHOW....this little, skinny 4 year old girl slipped into her baby cousin Isabelle's 12-18 month sized Halloween costume. It was SOOOO HILARIOUS! There are no other words.

In the next one she put on Riley's Minnie Mouse gloves and ears with Trav's goggles. Quite the ensemble, dontcha think??

I think her smile is sooooo cute in this picture!!

The cutest two sisters ever...

I took the following pictures of the girls one day in hopes of getting a great pic but kids are not always so cooperative...
And at the end is a video I thought was kind of cute and funny. Isabelle LOVES when Riley kisses her and usually laughs. I never seem to start recording soon enough though :P
Riley CAN be really sweet but she can also be pretty mean and rough with Izzy. Luckily, Isabelle is a good sport MOST of the time.

It has been brought to my attention...

...that I am a blog-slacker. By more than one person.

Do you think I do not know this??! Uh.....I do. And I apologize. New posts coming....hopefully sooooon. But do any of you know how hard it is to be a mom of two busy little girls and a wife, and try to keep up on cleaning, cooking, laundry, AND SCHOOL WORK?!?! Yeah....Just think of it this way...if I am not posting it's because I am trying to make up quality time with my husband who I miss the 16+ hours we USED to have before I started school. So.....yeah. Don't get me wrong. I am loving school. But it is a challenge.

Don't get me started. Don't EVEN get me started.....


Or I may never stop.

Anatomy

So tonight I had my first of six anatomy labs for Massage Therapy School. My class traveled up to University of Utah's cadaver lab. That's right, folks, where the dead bodies are!!! I have to admit I was super apprehensive among other things. I was not looking forward to it...

But here I am....home and showered and feeling much better. The experience wasn't so bad. It didn't smell as bad as I expected...but it certainly isn't somewhere I would choose to spend my time. We spent most of the time looking at and studying bones and the names of all the little dips and notches (these are important as a massage therapists because a lot of them are muscle attachments, if that makes sense to any of you...). That whole memorizing HUNDREDS of long, strangely spelled names will be quite difficult...but here's hoping I guess! Afterward we got to see a human leg and the different layers of it starting with the outermost or top layer of skin. We would actually say the most superficial...which is called the epidermis...beneath that we saw the dermis, the hypodermis, and other connective tissues (including bone-yes, bone. It's a type of connective tissue), ligaments, tendons, etc.... Sorry to bore you all but my story does have a point. After the leg...I held a human brain in my bare hands. Yep...I didn't think I could do it...but I did. We also got to see many different hearts. One that was healthy and others that were not so much. I opted not to touch or hold them. I am in school to be a massage therapist...not a doctor or anatomy teacher, after all. I know I am terribly behind in posting pics. I hope to get back to it soon. I have just been so busy with school but I am loving it! Let me know if you want a massage....because while I am a student, they are free!!! And it's good practice for me! Too bad most of my blog readers live far away :(

33. 3 FAVORITE MOVIES? This is too hard. I have a lot. The question should be divided into categories like action/comedy/romance/family/etc. One of my favorites it Frequency. I love Ironman, too. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is probably my favorite romantic comedy. I also really like The Holiday.... it's too hard to pick favorites!!!!!!!! I am too indecisive, obviously.
34. CAN YOU SING? Not so much. I like to-ish....but not well.
35. LAST CONCERT ATTENDED? Either Guitars Unplugged or The 5 Browns at BYU-Idaho. It has been a long time...Probably Guitars Unplugged now that I think of it...

37. LAST MOVIE RENTED: Vantage Point I think...it was good....got a little annoyed with all the going back in time though...

69. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON: Hard to say...depends where I live. If I am back East I would say Fall or Summer....out here in the West...probably the same but for different reasons. Winter is okay for the first few weeks then I am sick of it. But I like Spring because Easter is my favorite holiday. Okay...I have no real favorite, obviously!
70. LAST TIME YOU LAUGHED AT SOMETHING STUPID? Riley...but that would be mean to say that it was stupid...so last night at school...probably something my Anatomy teacher said.

I got home from school last night and we climbed into bed, curled up next to each other, and he said, "I miss you" and it broke my heart...seriously people. We need more time for each other. I knew school would be a sacrifice and it IS worth it but we miss each other and the time we used to have!
90. IF YOU COULD GO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD YOU GO? Anywhere alone with Travis. Maybe New York City...but anywhere would be more than perfect if it was just the two of us.

So today is my baby sister's 18th birthday!!! WOW! I cannot believe it. As is now customary, we had Riley sing Alyce her own version of happy birthday. And since these video clips tend to be too large to send via email...here it is! Happy Birthday Lycey! Love you so much and can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving!

I apologize for my seemingly ALWAYS raggedy haired girl! I swear we care for her and groom her!! She does have a runny nose right now though :P
